PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN, YOUTH & FAMILIES

To address the needs of children, youth, and families, Graffiti 2 has one cohesive, consistent, and coordinated strategy with four components: 1) G2 Kids, 2) G.S.A.L.T., 3) G2 Interns, and 4) Parents Rock. Each of these components is described below.

G2 Kids

Graffiti 2 provides quality, safe, and fun school year and summer programming to the children (1st-5th grade) of Mott Haven. Believing in the priceless value and unimaginable potential of each child, we intentionally plan activities for children that will revitalize (build their minds and bodies), revive, (strengthen their character, spirit, and personality), and revolutionize their lives, families, and community. In a neighborhood where children are failing to meet education standards, Graffiti 2’s after-school and summer learning programs provide essential literacy support, tutoring, and character mentorship.
