Mott Haven is located in the southwestern portion of the Bronx, directly across the Harlem River from Manhattan. It is a vibrant, culturally rich neighborhood with deep roots in Puerto Rican, Dominican, African American, and West African traditions.
Historically, the South Bronx has faced significant socio-economic hurdles, including high child poverty rates, health disparities, and environmental challenges. Yet, beneath these statistics lies a community filled with creativity, tight-knit families, and tremendous perseverance.
Graffiti 2 Ministries chooses to see Mott Haven through the eyes of hope. We believe God has great plans for this neighborhood and its people.
