Who Is Send Relief?
Simply put, Send Relief’s goal is to meet needs and change lives. Within the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), Send Relief globally executes, models and multiplies restorative compassion ministry. Our missionaries and partners all over the world serve alongside churches to meet the spiritual, emotional, social and economic needs of their communities — aligned with Send Network’s value of Restoration.
What Does Send Relief Do?
Send Relief, in partnership with the local church, creates holistic, restorative-based compassion ministry opportunities; mobilizes churches and individuals to participate in their community; and provides affordable and impactful mission trip opportunities, one-day compassion events and vision tours to help groups and individuals learn more about our Send Relief national ministry centers. Through supporting the church and mercy ministries, Send Relief helps create, grow, and strengthen contextualized, local ministry.
What are Send Relief Ministry Centers?
Send Relief missionaries and staff work at the local level to assess community needs, develop ministry strategies, deliver contextualized ministry and trains others to do the same. We encourage churches to visit and work with our ministry centers and partner organizations through mission trips, vision tours, trainings and one-day compassion events to help explore and expand compassion ministry opportunities.
