Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving week provides Graffiti 2 amazing community outreach opportunities to bless families in our community and share the the love of Christ with them. A team from West Virginia came to help us out during this week. On Tuesday of Thanksgiving week, Graffiti 2 served a Thanksgiving meal to about 200 people in our community. Our church members, GSALT, and some other local community groups helped us serve this meal. We also had an opportunity to present the gospel to our community this night.

On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, Graffiti 2 filled 80 boxes filled with all of the ingredients needed to make a full Thanksgiving meal (turkey, dressing, vegetables, pie, etc.). When families came to pick up their box that day, we were able to spend some time talking and praying with many of them.

That night we headed to Graffiti/East 7th Street Baptist Church in Manhattan to help serve their Thanksgiving meal. Our teenagers went and helped serve this meal to about 100 people. GSALT did an amazing job serving these people. They spent time talking with the individuals at their table and truly served them.
