Fall is in the air! As seasons change, we are reminded of how much God provides for us. It is amazing how God can use the changing of the color of leaves to reveal his glory. The same can be said about our lives. God uses different times of our lives to display his glory whether we are going through good times or bad times.
Graffiti 2’s Afterschool Program has kicked off with a bang! We have 30 G-Salt students who range from 6th-12th grade. We also have 30 kids from 1st – 5th grade. We are praying that each of these 60 will hear and receive the Word of God. As we provide homework help, we are intentionally sharing the Gospel message. Our heart’s desire is to see the students and kids take the Gospel message into the community. After all, Graffiti 2’s mission statement is the Revitalize, Revive, Revolutionize.
In Graffiti 2 Works, we are helping and teaching 15 adults fundamental principles to help them pass the TASC (GED) test. This has been a great opportunity for us to share the Gospel with these adults while they receive some educational help. Currently, we have employed four of these students in our WorldCrafts artisan group. Our goal and desire is to employee all of our students but we currently do not have the funds to do so.
God is doing great things in the Mott Haven neighborhood and at Graffiti 2! Please continue to pray for us as we seek to do what God has called us to do.
